Mother's Blessing

Service Description

A mother's blessing is a celebration to honour and celebrate the mother to be. This is a tradition based upon a 'blessingway ' which is an old Navajo (native American) ceremony, which celebrates a woman’s rite of passage into motherhood. Women friends and family gather to love and honour the mum to be as she prepares for her own transition from maiden to mother. A mother's blessing focuses on the woman, nurturing the mother to be and providing her with love and strength for her journey ahead. This is a very personal and bespoke ritual that is specifically tailored to what the mother would like. Options you can choose from include: * Reading of poems, * Singing/Drumming/Music * Massage of hands and/or feet * Creating a collage * Sharing memories/positive birth stories These are just a few examples and we can work together to make a truly unique experience for you or the mum you may be organising a blessing for. Timings and price will vary depending on what you would like included. Minimum time would be 1.5-2 hours. Please contact me to discuss a quote. I will come to your home or venue of choice, set up the space and welcome all attendees. This is a beautiful gift to give to a friend, sister, aunt, any woman in your life who is preparing for motherhood and to let her know she is cared for, loved and cherished. Everyone wants to hold the baby - but please do not let us forget to hold and honour the mother.

Cancellation Policy

If appointment is cancelled with 48 hours of scheduled appointment time 50% treatment cost is payable. If appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled appointment time 100% treatment cost is payable.
